A. B. RITSCHER

I’ve always been enthusiastic about great writing, and love losing myself in a book. Poetry is my main passion, but I am working on a novel, as well. Hopefully, my first novel will be followed by several more novels.
I couldn’t be happier to have turned my passion for writing into a career as a professional self-published writer.
Here you will find samplings of my work, which I invite you to explore and enjoy below. If you want to fall into my world of writing on a more personal level I invite you to check out my Patreon page. I give a closer look into how I write and give stories on what some of my poems are actually about along with merchandise that is exclusive to my Patreon members. My Patreon subscribers see my poems before anyone else sees them, plus just other tidbits about me, my process and my personality.

Masterpiece Still Forming

This new poetry book, I feel is my best work so far, but I may be partial. I dig deeper to express complex emotions through the stories in my head. It's a short glimpse into some of the random stories I create in my head. It will be quite the poetic adventure.

ABOUT ME

I am a daydreamer. Throughout my day I get lost in various stories that I create in my head. Some are about short moments, while other stories cross over years.  I have them every day. I think this is why I love writing. I can see a person or an event and I think to myself what happen's next in the story. From there I continue the story in my head. I create more stories than I can write down, but I'd never want to give it up. I think my poem "Levitate" captures the essence of me.
